Olivia Brown was recently interviewed on her views on the Ontario government’s plan to open 50 new cannabis retail store locations in the fall of 2019.
The 50 new pot shops are set to open in Ontario 42 regionally and 8 on first nations. The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario will once again be holding a “lottery” to select the shops.
19 of which will be opening in the greater Hamilton and Toronto area a first come first serve process will determine the eight set to open on first nations. Since legalization, there have been issues at some retail locations such as demand far exceeding federal supply.
